Hello love I totally get what you are going through. In my lifetime I've struggled with eating disorders, over-exercising,  body dysmorphia, abusive relationships, divorce, and health issues. I have also had many amazing experiences which have made me grow as a person and learn what I want and don't want in my life.

I have four children so I understand what it's like to have mom responsibilities, work full time, and take care of a householdAt 16 I had oldest my daughter- K, at 19 my second-S, at 21 my third-G and at 26 my youngest-V. Through two of my four pregnancies my body was depleted and the abusive relationships caused me to be overly stressed. After having my first three girls all I cared about was "being skinny."  I wanted to fit in with what was portrayed as "perfect" (at that time) so I ignored the dizziness, fatigue, and anxiety thinking it was "normal".

I OBSESSED about what I looked like daily.

Just one year prior to my fourth pregnancy, I was training to be in a figure competition.

My workouts were intense and my body was already nutrient depleted from the anorexia and pregnancies, but I pushed myself and ignored what my body was telling me.

I pushed myself so much that I hit rock bottom and was exhausted and in pain everyday.

I was so sick- I couldn't work, was barely able to care for my kids, and I felt like I was  slowly dying. My health became my priority so I took control and I started eating the right foods. In time I started feeling like myself again.

A little over a year later I was pregnant with my youngest.  Instead of having V at a hospital I really wanted to have her at home. Of my three previous hospital births none of them left me with a good impression. My third labor I was two weeks early and I was five centimeters dilated at my office visit so they sent me to the hospital right away. When I arrived the immediately gave me pitocin. Looking back I am furious with that decision and this is part of why I did not want to have a hospital birth for my last baby. Although I have a blood disorder called thalassemia minor, I found a midwife who was willing to take me as her patient. My youngest was born at our home- on the bathroom floor- on a Bambi blanket. It was an amazing experience!

I loved my Homebirth!

During my pregnancy I attended community college online and worked 15 hours a week as a hair stylist. When my youngest was a year old I graduated with my associates in General Studies and then transferred to a private college where I received my Bachelor's in Community Health with a specialization in Health Care Administration. She had just turned three years old when I graduated. While completing my bachelors I worked at a men's barber shop 20 hours a week and started my online coaching business for a MLM.

My internship got me my first job that summer and allowed me to make connections with other agencies. Within two months of graduating I was offered a well paid full-time position as a nutritionist. My girls participated in cheerleading that summer and practice was everyday Monday thru Thursday. We wouldn't get home until after 8 pm. I would get my workouts in at their practices, but soon I became exhausted again. My body aches had come back and fatigue was setting in. That fall I knew something was severely wrong as I could barely function without my body being in excruciating pain. I went to my holistic practitioner and had numerous tests done.

I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue.

I did what I absolutely had to do, but would lay on the couch most of the time. After six weeks of taking special supplements the pain lifted, but the fatigue still existed.

I realized from the busy lifestyle I was leading and trying to exercise while eating not enough had lead me down this path yet again! I started to get very interested in nutrition and how our bodies NEED nutrients from real food to get what we need. Supplements alone won't solve the problem. I started eating more WHOLE FOODS. Lots of fruits and veggies (while avoiding other foods) and the fatigue lifted!

Currently I work full-time for a healthcare center as a nutrition educator, raise my girls as a single parent, and coach. Looking back I know that I went through everything in my life for a reason. To teach other women to be relentless, to help educate them, and to give them the support they need to reach their goals.
